a senior surgeon at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, is pursuing a fellowship at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California in colorectal surgery, with an orientation in surgical oncology training. Trained as both an engineer and scientist, Dr. Israelit brings these skills to his research, especially in the reconstruction of the GI tract. He is accompanied by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
