a senior nephrologist from Hadassah University Hospital in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem, is a fellow at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She is studying metabolic bone disease in the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension. She hopes to give her patients significantly better therapeutic support upon her return to Israel, as well as continuing her research on defining the pathophysiology of some metabolic bone diseases. Dr. Gal is accompanied by her husband, also a physician, and her three children.
