a member of the Ophthalmology Department of Rabin Medical Center, Petah Tikva, is pursuing a fellowship in the Vitreoretinal and Medical Retina Division at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA in California. Accompanied by his wife, also a physician, and his two children, Dr. Bourla hopes to apply the knowledge and abilities he gains in this fellowship to his work in the public health system in Israel and to teach new generations of practitioners.
